Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta from her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. At an early age, her father began to take an interest in theater. He performed on his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953. During his time stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the Air force. The two married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they left the airforce and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local television for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project they self-financed. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. Lelisa Billingsley often referred to as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
