Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. She received her Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. With just three movies, she became the top female box office star in the entire world. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
