The family was raised from Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and was a clarinet player as well as piano and cello at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's love for theatre at school inspired her to enroll at The Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp focused her energy on the stage. Sharp performed on the Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Sharp is also a part of Abyssinia and Aida as well as Thunder Knockin Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a reader of August Wilson's Come and Gone. Apart from her roles in stage and screen, Sharp has several other unique projects she has written or co-written. She sings as often as she can, and has a full-length album that is in development. Sharp is an avid fitness fan who loves to box as well as study Krav Maga. When not performing behind or in front of the camera, or capturing songs in the studio Sharp enjoys long, road trips, playing the piano, or hiking. Sharp lives with her husband and children and lives in Los Angeles.
